A man in Wayne Township, Ohio was arrested after he allegedly stabbed his wife's dog to death.

According to the Butler County Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Nicholas Jack George was arrested for cruelty to a companion animal, which is a fifth-degree felony.

The incident allegedly started on June 9 after George threatened his wife, saying that if he was to kill her dog, she would "never find it." Then, the next day, on June 10, Bowie was found stabbed to death.

The investigation into the case was led by the Butler County Dog Wardens and detectives with Butler County. George was found and booked into the Butler County Jail on Tuesday.
