If sold for its listed price of $4.25 million, the home would be the highest sale price for the City of Buffalo over at least the last decade, according to multiple listing service data analyzed by the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors. The mansion was originally built in 1927 for Orin Foster, a philanthropist and co-founder of Foster-Milburn Co., an early manufacturer of medicines. The 8,695-square-foot structure was designed by Paul F. Mann, who has worked on other well-known structures in the Buffalo area, such as the Harlow C. Curtiss Building.
